See you this weekend!
Tilsner Cooperative Building - 1st Floor.

3.5 year MIA

WOW. Kids and life sure can interrupt things, like a photo blog...that I wasn't good at in the first place.

BUT...better late than never, I have been updating my portfolio. Here is a sampling of HS Seniors

Handmade Wedding Albums - Parents and Bridal

I did a unique wedding last August and was asked to make 3 albums. Using the material from the brides dress, I created these:

Front Cover of the Bridal Album
cameo cutout

utilized the awesome pattern in the tye-dye

hinged spine
black dupioni silk on inside cover

10x10 printed pages
60 sides
aprox. 180 images

background image crosses full 10x20 spread

one of the parents albums
7x7 - 54 sides
aprox. 140 images

black linen paper, hand bound

each book was similar, but customized with family specific images
photos are adhered using archival tape

It was such a fun project. So rewarding to create these cherished, one of a kind albums.

Centennial Lakes

A wedding couple who takes me up every year on free their yearly portrait.

He is not a fan of getting his photo taken.

But we always end up getting some smiles.
showing off those cute shoes!

Always fun catching up with my wedding couples.

A chilly start at Wayzata Depot.

love all the expressions of a baby!

not convinced it was a good idea to be outside...

...but the model train helped (and Mom!).

THANK YOU!! What cute kids!!

Chloe's Fight

Last Year, about this time I photographed a wonderful family faced with a grave condition called MLD (metachromatic leukodystrophy). I was honored to capture Chloe's smile as they played together in the Peace Gardens at Lake Harriet. This year (October 8) there is a 5K in Chloe's Honor and to help find a cure for MLD.

Riley - South 2012

If only all Seniors (especially boys) were as comfortable in front of the camera, and took direction as well as Riley!
