Handmade Wedding Albums - Parents and Bridal

I did a unique wedding last August and was asked to make 3 albums. Using the material from the brides dress, I created these:

Front Cover of the Bridal Album
cameo cutout

utilized the awesome pattern in the tye-dye

hinged spine
black dupioni silk on inside cover

10x10 printed pages
60 sides
aprox. 180 images

background image crosses full 10x20 spread

one of the parents albums
7x7 - 54 sides
aprox. 140 images

black linen paper, hand bound

each book was similar, but customized with family specific images
photos are adhered using archival tape

It was such a fun project. So rewarding to create these cherished, one of a kind albums.

Elizabeth & Bryan's Renaissance Album

While I have been patiently waiting for Eric & Rachel's Zookbook to come in from being bound, I have been assembling a variety of Renaissance Albums for couples. This one is the completed version of Elizabeth & Bryan, married back in 2005.

Our Latest Handmade Wedding Album

Tonight Michael and Jessica came to pick up their wedding album, in an earlier post I had shown the materials to be used in the cover so it is cool to see the progress. I have now entered this state of when I create the book I no longer am sad to give it away (though I would love to have a duplicate!), I am thrilled to hand over the album so anticipated by the client. This is how it turned out -

Elizabeth and Bryan's Renaissance Album Comps

Elizabeth & Bryan were married in July of 2005.
These are the 10x10 comp spreads to go along with the individual prints in the album.
They were married at St. Theresea, photos at St. Kates, flowers by (sadly missed) Fiori Florist, and reception at the Prom Center the dresses were from the Wedding Shoppe
